2018 | The Seed
2020 | Meeting the Need
Today | Community Thrivers

Volunteering at an elementary school during Brielle’s freshman year at Virginia Union University sparked a lifelong passion for youth mentorship and believing in every child’s potential.

In the midst of the pandemic, Brielle mobilized family and friends to launch their first food and back-to-school drives, realizing Trenton needed consistent, year-round neighborhood support.

What began as grassroots outreach evolved into Community Thrivers—now operating year-round out of 153 Oakland Street to meet daily essential needs, host youth workshops, and cultivate lasting community growth.

Community Thrivers is 100% powered by dedicated volunteers and neighbors united by love for our city.

Where you start does not determine where you can grow.

When people are given dignity, support, and the space to thrive, stronger communities take root.
